For example, there's information on rates of naturalization by continent of origin (would you have guessed that Africans are the quickest to naturalize--with a median number of years in permanent residence status of only 5 years?), or by metropolitan area of residence (would you have guessed that more immigrants by far become naturalized citizens in the NY/NJ/PA area than any other metropolitan area? Or that the state with the highest number of naturalizations is California?).
