USCIS is now taking comments on the proposed fee increase for citizenship applications. NALEO has put together a portal that makes it easy for you to send comments directly to USCIS:

Please note that you will be asked to select either "elected or appointed official" or "community or civic leader" in order to see a sample letter that you can tailor to your own experience. I realize that "community or civic leader" is not the way we generally think of ourselves, but I contacted NALEO with this question directly and their response was: "we definitely think of educators as community and civic leaders, so we very much welcome their input on the fees."
